Meet the Best in the Biz!
MICHELE
Michele started her career at a small ad agency in New York and loved every minute of it. Eventually she was ready for a new (and slower paced) adventure so she hopped in her car and drove to California where she spent the next 10 years in public relations for the high-tech sector. She and Chris eventually relocated to Charleston and they love it so much, they’ll never leave. When she’s not working, Michele loves boating and piddling in her garden.

CHRIS
Prior to joining 2 Oceans, Chris spent his days in the IT industry in California and in Georgia. Speaking of Georgia, Chris is a graduate of Georgia Tech and will forever root for the Yellow Jackets. He is a true people person so it’s only natural that he leads new business development at 2 Oceans. When he’s not working, you can guarantee that he’s working on house projects, at the golf course or slaying fish on the water.

STEFANIE
Stefanie is the Queen of Numbers. She brings over 25 years of accounting experience to 2 Oceans. While she loves diving into the nitty-gritty details of the digits, what she really enjoys is spending time outdoors playing tennis or hiking with her husband, John and twins, Hailey and Luke. She loves the Pittsburgh Steelers. What self-respecting Pittsburgh native doesn’t? She is a mom to two recent college grads, a very energetic labradoodle, and the cutest golden retriever you have ever seen.

JENNIFER
With over 15 years in the promotional products business, Jennifer is the resident expert on all things “branding.” She’s a master at both custom importing and domestic sourcing and knows exactly who to call for our most outlandish requests. Jen joined 2 Oceans in 2001, making her Chief of Staff here at the office. Away from work, she and her husband, Chris can be found cheering on one son at the golf course and the other on the baseball field.

MAX
Max Derrickson joined 2 Oceans at the beginning of 2015 and always brings a new outlook and lots of energy to the group. A graduate of LSU (Geaux Tigers!), Max’s previous job was with an event planning company. He grew up in Atlanta where he lives with his wife Liz and their two young kids, Henry and Milly. Max spends his free time chasing kids around a beautiful house that he is always renovating.

LEXI
The newest member of our team, we are thrilled to have Lexi join us! Born and raised in the promotional products industry, she brings along with her several years of knowledge and customer service experience. Lexi married her high school sweetheart, Daniel, they share the love of travel and spending quality time together with their puppy, Whiskey, and cat, Twister.

LUCY
Lucy graduated in May of 2017 from Wofford College where she spent four years playing soccer. She spent the first few years of her career as an event planner helping to create over-the-top events and weddings. She is our resident “event expert” and is ready to help plan yours! When she’s off the clock, you’ll most likely find her at the beach, hanging with her puppy, Pepper, or planning her next adventure.

CAROLINE
Caroline graduated from Clemson in May 2024 with a degree in marketing. She spent her first post-grad year working at a local law firm learning the ins and outs of financial law. She has lived in the Lowcountry her entire life and loves everything about it—from beach days and boat rides to good ole’ southern food and exploring everything Charleston has to offer. When she’s not working, you’ll probably find her with friends, laying on the beach, tailgating a Clemson football game, or spending time with her dog, Bates.

HAILEY
A recent Gamecock alum, Hailey earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of South Carolina. Now, as one of our newest Junior Account Managers in the Charleston office, she’s ready to channel her love of shopping and PR savvy into fueling creative work for our clients. Off the clock, you'll probably spot Hailey out by the water, relaxing with some retail therapy downtown, or enjoying tacos and margaritas with friends.

LIZ
Liz came to 2 Oceans after 10 years as a 6th grade teacher. Her teaching skills come in handy to keep Max in line in the Atlanta office. Liz is so versatile that she works in every department at 2 Oceans - accounting, art, and fulfillment. When she isn't taking her kids, Henry and Milly to school or sports, you can find her in her rose garden tending to her award-winning roses!

KAREN
Karen is a jack-of-all-trades but her main focus is to manage the shipping, receiving and deliveries from our busy 2 Oceans office. She loves to spend her free time boating and traveling and cheering on both of our state’s biggest football rivals – Clemson and USC. Her son graduated from USC and her daughter from Clemson but Karen hates playing favorites so she roots for both. It gets to be tricky when they play each other! Karen worked in the gift industry as a sales rep for several years, but now enjoys helping keep the 2 Oceans office in “ship-shape.”
